At SineWine, our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction is paramount. We understand the importance of your investment in our products and strive to offer a seamless experience from purchase to post-purchase support. This warranty information outlines the terms and conditions under which we offer warranty services for the products purchased from SineWine. Please read this document carefully to understand your rights and obligations.

 

1. Quality Assurance

Every product sold by SineWine undergoes a stringent quality check to ensure it meets our high standards before being shipped to you. Our quality checks cover all aspects of the product, including functionality, performance, and appearance.

 

2. Warranty Coverage

The warranty terms vary depending on the type of product purchased:

  • New Phones with Existing Brand Warranty: These phones come with the manufacturer's warranty, which lasts up to 1 year from the date of purchase. Please refer to the brand's official warranty terms for details.
  • Refurbished Phones: These phones come with a 6-month warranty that covers manufacturing defects and other specified conditions listed below.
  • Imported Phones (Like New): These phones come with a 3-month warranty that covers manufacturing defects and other specified conditions.
  • Used Phones: These phones come with a 6-month warranty that covers manufacturing defects and other specified conditions.
  • Downloadables (Digital) Products: SineWine does not offer any warranty for downlaodables as digital items does not age with time.
  • Accessories and Other Products: SineWine does not offer any warranty on accessories or products in other categories due to lack of technical expertise for repairs and servicing of these items.

Warranty coverage applies only to defects and conditions mentioned on this page. Any issues outside of these specified conditions are not covered under warranty.

 

3. Return and Replacement Policy

Initial Return Period: Products can be returned for any reason within 2 days of delivery. To initiate a return, click the return icon on the "My Orders" page.

Conditions for Return:

  • The product must be in its original condition, with all accessories and packaging intact.
  • Any signs of physical damage or tampering will void the return eligibility.

4. Warranty Coverage Details

Our warranty covers specific components and defects as outlined below:

Display:

  • Covered: Manufacturing defects such as non physical related screen issues (e.g., resolution mismatch).
  • Not Covered: User-induced damage such as cracks, scratches, green lines, and other physical damage resulting from mishandling.

Back Panel, Display Glass, Frame:

  • Covered: Manufacturing defects.
  • Not Covered: Normal wear and tear, and accidental damage caused by the user.

Other Parts:

  • Battery: Warranty covers performance issues or failures due to manufacturing defects. This includes significant battery drain, inability to hold a charge, and complete failure of the battery. Issues such as battery bulging due to manufacturing defects are also covered. However, damage resulting from excessive heat exposure, physical damage, or improper charging practices is not covered.
  • Software: Warranty covers software malfunctions and issues directly related to the phone's operating system. Any software-related issues caused by unauthorized modifications (e.g., rooting or flashing custom ROMs) are not covered.
  • Speaker: Warranty covers speaker performance issues such as distortion, volume inconsistency, and complete failure due to manufacturing defects. Damage caused by exposure to water, physical impact, or insertion of foreign objects into the speaker grille is not covered.
  • Motherboard: Warranty covers all motherboard-related issues including performance failures, connectivity issues, and any other malfunction due to manufacturing defects. This does not cover damage due to water exposure, physical damage, or any unauthorized repairs and modifications.
  • Charging Port and Buttons: Warranty covers malfunction of the charging port and physical buttons (e.g., power and volume buttons) due to manufacturing defects. This does not include issues arising from wear and tear, physical damage, or misuse.

 

5. Exclusions and Limitations

While we strive to provide comprehensive warranty coverage, certain conditions and exclusions apply. These include, but are not limited to:

Water Damage:

  • Any damage resulting from exposure to liquids, including but not limited to water, coffee, tea, or other beverages.
  • This includes internal corrosion or damage to internal components caused by liquid exposure.

User-Induced Damage:

  • Damage resulting from mishandling, such as drops, impacts, or crushing.
  • Damage caused by improper use, including but not limited to operating the device outside recommended temperature ranges or using incompatible accessories.
  • Any physical damage such as cracks, dents, or scratches on the device body, screen, or back panel.

Normal Wear and Tear:

  • Gradual deterioration in performance due to regular usage, such as minor scratches or scuffs that do not affect device functionality.
  • Battery degradation over time, as all batteries lose capacity with usage and age.

Unauthorized Repairs:

  • Any damage resulting from repairs carried out by any entity other than SineWine or its authorized service centers.
  • Issues arising from the use of third-party parts or accessories not approved by the manufacturer.

User Induced Software Issues:

  • Problems arising from the installation of unauthorized software, applications, or modifications (e.g., rooting or flashing custom ROMs).
  • Virus or malware infections resulting from the installation of third-party software.

Other Specific Exclusions:

  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect the functionality of the device.
  • Defects or damage resulting from excessive force or improper use of device ports and connectors.

 

6. Post-Warranty Service

After the warranty period, customers requiring service will be responsible for:

  • Repair Charges: Fees for labor involved in the repair.
  • Part Costs: The cost of any replacement parts required.
  • Delivery Fees: Shipping costs for sending the product to and from the service center.

 

7. Shipping and Service Logistics

Serviceable Locations: If your location is serviceable by our logistics partner, Delhivery, we will arrange for a pickup of the product. If not, you will need to ship the product to SineWine at your expense.

Refund for Shipping Costs: For non-serviceable locations, upon providing a valid shipping receipt with a clearly visible tracking number and SineWine's address in the "To" section, we will refund the shipping costs.

 

8. Additional Terms

Non-Transferable Warranty: The warranty is applicable only to the original purchaser whose name is on the invoice and is not transferable to subsequent owners. This ensures that the warranty is provided to those who have directly purchased the product from SineWine, maintaining the integrity and authenticity of our service.

Part Availability: In the event that a required part is not available with SineWine, authorized service centers, or offline providers, repair cannot be initiated. In such cases, SineWine may offer compensation based on the product's current value, following a thorough inspection of the product. This ensures that customers are not left without recourse if specific parts are unavailable.

Customer Obligations:

  • Ensure the product is used as per the manufacturer’s guidelines and maintained properly.
  • Keep the original purchase invoice safe, as they will be required for any warranty claims.
  • Report any issues promptly to avoid further damage which may not be covered under warranty.

Repair Timelines: SineWine aims to complete repairs within a reasonable timeframe, but this can vary based on part availability and the nature of the issue. Customers will be kept informed of any delays.

Replacement Policy: If a product cannot be repaired due to unavailability of parts or other reasons, a replacement product of the same or equivalent model may be offered. If a replacement is not feasible, a refund or compensation may be provided based on the product's current value.
